Re: “A Single Pebble

I finally had the dim sum. I absolutely loved it. The food was mostly delicious. Fried walnuts was a new discovery. The waiter and hostess were very helpful and even exchanged a dish that we did not care for. The atmosphere was very relaxed on a Sunday noontime feast. It was my favorite dining. Experience this year!

Re: “Pizzeria Verità

Amazing place, the service was the best I have had in a long time, they created a two-top spot for us. The Caesar was huge and had amazing white anchovies on top. The sausage pizza was to die for, it tasted as if the sausage was made that day and it would not surprise me if it was, or close to it. Cannot wait to return.

Re: “Pho Hong

Love this place- I have been here 5 times and was never disappointed. Fresh and flavorful dishes with huge servings. My favorite Bun Thit Nuong never fails me. The service can be sometimes slow but not unlike any other places we have hit ( Tiny Thai and m. saigon). here the food is much fresher and leaner.

Re: “Three Brothers Pizza & Grill

Nice relaxed atmosphere, with great food and beer. One of my favorite places for catching up with old friends.

Re: “The Windjammer Restaurant

Awesome restaurant! Hands down the best salad bar around. Great steak and seafood. I've been coming here for years and it's been consistently delicious, every time, both lunch and dinner. Food 4 Ambience 4 Service 4

Re: “Erica's American Diner

Finally a place in Fairfax worth going to. It's a diner, so don't expect a gourmet meal. But the food is SOLID. The fried shrimp was juicy and yummy. The fries were spot on. The service was great. I cannot wait to go back and try the swiss and mushroom burger.

Re: “Taverna Khione

I liked the space a lot - the colors and wall hangings were beautiful. Our server was friendly and funny but there was only one server for the whole place so service was a bit slow. The octupus appetizer was a bit chewy and I didn't love the fava bean puree but the caper berries were a nice touch. I thought my moussaka portion was a bit small for the price but the flavors were amazing. The red wine I had from Greece was also amazing. We will be back but maybe just for an appetizer and glass of wine. The prices and portions aren't exactly what we have in mind when we think of Greek dining.

Re: “Richmond Park and Ride

They did a really nice job with the expansion, but forgot a trash/recycling receptacle. I called the highway department to request one be placed near the bus shelter. Nada. Any suggestions as to how to make this happen?

Re: “Taverna Khione

Had a lovely dinner here with a mix of spreads, the octopus appetizer and a special appetizer of house cured beef in filo dough. Husband and I split the lamb chops. Octopus was tender, lamb was divine.

Re: “Vergennes Laundry

Should be a five-star review as their pastries are incredible (and the best baguettes in the state), as are their coffee drinks (Intelligensia beans). But the fact that they're only open two days a week (and often will be closed with no prior announcement on one or both of those days) makes it incredibly frustrating as a customer.

Re: “The Bearded Frog

Solid and consistant food. We like to eat in the bar or the patio when weather abides. The Waldorf is awesome. Flatbreads are delicious. Burgers are good. The menu is well balanced with something for almost everybody. Always had friendly and knowledgable service at the Frog.

Re: “Positive Pie (Barre)

Let me just say I love Positive Pie! The new spot in Barre is as good as the Montpelier one! The pizza is awesome with good fresh ingredients. The fried brussel sprouts, yum with the dipping sauce. The salmon with fingerlings and asparagus dish, delicious!
They are doing a nice job and the new digs are great, rustic and spacious. The 1 criticism is that the portion of brussels were not consistent, I got a whole lot less the last time I was there then I did the first time. But I will try again :)

Re: “Asiana Noodle Shop

Now that winter is officially here, there's nothing quite so satisfying as walking in from a wind-blasted Church Street to the Asiana Noodle House basement, ordering a huge bowl of spicy miso ramen and warming up. This stuff is amazing.

Re: “Pho Dang Vietnamese Café (Winooski)

Great pho. I also have enjoyed the crispy crepe and pad thai. Prices can't be beat, service is fast, ambience resembles an interrogation room

Re: “Lucky Next Door

fun, cozy spot... hour and a half wait at penny cluse, but got "lucky next door", and we walked right in for a counter seat by the front window. creative, flavorful food, enthusiastic service, but the coffee could use an upgrade.

Re: “Junior's Rustico

Really good! Thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Junior's Rustico this week. The tapas menu is wonderful. We tried: seafood paella, calamari, fried mozzarella, bruschetta and a tasty sausage platter. The homemade fried mozzarella was amazing- I can't wait to return to enjoy that appetizer along with a nice glass of red! Calamari was perfectly prepared and the presentation was very nice. Portions for the entrees are smaller than Junior's in Colchester but just as tasty. Definitely more of a hipster flare in terms of ambiance, nicely done!

Re: “Zollikofer Gallery at Hotel Coolidge

With so few full-fledged galleries left in the Upper Valley, it is wonderful for us to have alternative spaces as great as this one to exhibit our work. Kudos to Peggy Adams at The Coolidge Hotel for having held over 100 shows at this great space in the up and coming arts community, White River Junction, VT.
