Re: “Sparkling Champagne & Wine Bar

We love Sparkling! Nancy is very knowledgeable, wonderfully friendly, and really makes a customer feel immersed in the entire culture of sparkling wines. Add on the selection of local cheeses or chocolates to pair with her sparkling selections, and you know you are in a special place. We stop by frequently to enjoy a glass or two and to talk with Nancy or other customers. Truly a hidden gem in Vermont.

Re: “Mule Bar

I love Mule Bar. I frequent their spot on Taco Tuesday. They have an awesome selection of beers on tap and event a draught cocktail - among others. The food is super tasty, consistent and reasonably priced and the atmosphere is clean and bright. It's turning into my regular spot! I would recommend!

Re: “Manhattan Pizza & Pub

Great Place to eat and drink. Good food and good friends and great bartenders. Fair price. Almost always good music playing. Definately a good place to check out in the heart of downtown.

Re: “The Blue Stone

My wife and I enjoy going to Piecaso in Stowe, but it can get pretty crowded and the pizza menu never really changes. We discovered Blue Stone and have been eating there every since. Firstly, the have their regular pizzas and then there are the creative black board specials. The combinations are off the wall and very good! I also recently discovered their Vanilla Old Fashion cocktail, it is extremely well prepared and a must have if you drink whiskey. If you like great pizza, when in or near to Waterbury, Blue Stone is not to be missed!!

Re: “Patricia's Restaurant, a.k.a. Sully's Place

Four Tennesseeans, touring Vermont on bicycles, landed at Sully's one evening in early October. Patrons enthusiastically greeted us and asked about our exploits. The food was truly amazing...cheese spread, salad, vegetables, venison, haddock...every item was delectable! In fact, the meal might have been the finest we enjoyed on the entire trip! My olnly regret was that I didn't have room for dessert!

Re: “Tilt Classic Arcade and Ale House

From the menu and beer selection, it is easy to tell that these guys decided to do it right. The game selection is great and only getting better with recent additions.

Re: “Dylan's Café

I eat lunch at Dylan's Cafe regularly. By regularly I mean I eat there once or twice a month so I am there enough to see a level of consistency in both food and service.

The menu is fresh and there is enough variety to keep even a regular like me still interested. The "specials board" always has something interesting.

Nearly every meal I have had has been excellent. Again consistency is important. The burger's are delicious. I like mine medium rare and it ALWAYS comes out that way. The Dylan's Turkey is another favorite of mine, as is the French Onion soup.

This is a great local place and I would encourage you to give it a try.

Re: “Sushi Yoshi (Stowe)

I love this place! Food is excellent, staff friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is perfect - especially the new outdoor patio juts off the Stowe Rec path. We sometimes drop by for a quick drink (free wings 3-6pm), or use the Good Guy Card for 1/2 price on most things on the menu all day Monday and until 6pm on weekdays. A perfect addition to the Stowe's restaurant scene, a place where the locals like to hang out with or without the kids!

Re: “Studio Place Arts

All the shows at SPA are great but my favorite every year, this one is the stonework shows. This one is, as always, beautiful. So nice to have this studio in downtown Barre. I'm going again.

Re: “The Lobby

Came here by accident the day after they launched their new fall menu. We had the best time! After a truly taxing day all we wanted was a decent dinner out and a cocktail. The room is very cool, loved the multiple levels and unique fixtures. The service was spot on. Our server was very pleasant was clearly excited about their new menu. The food... oh my the food! We shared everything as usual. The bratwurst raviolis and mussells appetizer were enough to make me forget the day we'd had. Then we had the pork burger and the haddock entree. If i had to pick a favorite i couldn't. The little bit of heat in the haddock broth was spot on and the fish was cooked perfectly. The pork burger may have ruined me for other burgers. Crispy pork belly on a local pork patty. Cant wait to go back and explore more of the menu

Re: “The Parker Pie Co.

Epic beer selection, the best pizza I've had anywhere, much less in Vermont. Great atmosphere and people. Can get crowded on busy nights, but that's just because it's so darn good.

Re: “Juniper

Spectacular Cocktails! So special and yummy, sat outside on the rooftop deck overlooking the city, the stars were out and a warm wind greeted us as we enjoyed the Farmer's Martini- really exceptional. NOT cheap but if you're feeling for a treat it's well worth it!

Re: “La Boca Wood Fired Pizzeria

We have been to La Boca three times, and it is a wonderful addition to the NNE. Finally someplace that has great quality food and local products. Their pizza has been consistently good with excellent crust, including the specials and menu items (the loaded baked potato pizza was a surprise and tasty). Last night we had the cheese plate, and it was excellent as well with delicious cheeses from Shelburne Farms. The atmosphere is comfortable, their service personalized, and the local beers and ciders on tap include unique finds well worth trying. Definitely a keeper!

Re: “Uncle Pop Pop's Sandwich & Tapas Shop

Would eat here ALL DAY EVERY DAY! Best kept secret in VT. Have dined at many of the much-hyped local eateries and cannot recall last time that I had a meal that even compared. Had the Seafood Stew, Sweet & Spicy Meatloaf Sandwich, Stuffed Mushrooms a la Gallega, Pinxto Pork Encobijados, and the Potatas Bravas. Each and every single item was outstanding. Impressive beer, cider, wine, and liquor selection as well!

Re: “La Boca Wood Fired Pizzeria

Finally a fabulous restaurant has come to the New North End. The food was great and the service was amazing, including one of the owners who came up to your table introduced herself and made sure we had everything we needed. We brought our two small children as well, which at times is very challenging, and they were so understanding and helpful. We for sure will be eating there again !

Re: “Martone's Market & Café

I've returned to say the shrunken sandwiches are no more! They are back, and bigger and better than ever before. Wonderful! So happy to get my Martone's fix!

Re: “Stacks Sandwiches

I've always been pleased with the sandwiches at Stacks. The Maple Cilantro Turkey is my favorite... or maybe the Buffalo Chicken... or the Cuban Missile. The sweetness of the turkey on the Maple Cilantro is just so perfect! All the components just go together so well, and the bread is great too. Soft, yet sturdy enough to hold up while eating. Ingredients always seem fresh, and their house made sweet pickles are DELICIOUS. I would buy a jar of those any day.
