Re: “People’s United Bank (Montpelier)

I have been with Peoples United Bank for 5 years .The customer service in this bank has exceeded my expectations. Manager helped me get organized in a way that has helped me grow my business. I recommend that any young entrepreneur or start up to get signed up with their business banking services as it can be difficult for an artist/creative person to get organized. I also have an account here and I am very satisfied with this bank. Incidentally, if you are searching information about Peoples United Bank you can find it here http://www.usbankinginfo.com/bank/peoples-united-bank/

Re: “La Boca Wood Fired Pizzeria

We love La Boca! Talk about local ingredients... you can order any pizza on their menu gluten-free with a crust that is made right in Essex. They have definitely worked out any kinks there may have been from when they first opened up in 2014. Their staff is so accommodating and friendly. I can walk in on a busy weekend evening, order a takeout pizza or two, and they consistently have it ready to go in 15 minutes. We're picky and we LOVE this place! American Flatbread is one of our long-time favorites, and this place seriously gives it a run for its money. It's a good thing it's in the NNE!

Re: “Honest Yoga Center

A beautiful, warm and welcoming studio, full of unique, friendly and credited professionals. A prefect place for beginners....Danielle, Scott and Sam are some of my all time favorite instructors...worldly, but down to earth....cool and influential members of the Burlington community.

Re: “Pascolo Ristorante

My fiance and I were looking for a place to celebrate some good news and I'm glad we chose Pascolo. The atmosphere is cool and romantic, and we were seated in a semicircular booth right in front of a window where you can see a woman making their fresh pasta. I got the Frutti di Mare and asked to substitute the spaghetti for the pappardelle pasta that they make in house. I'm glad I made the substitution because it was delicious! I highly recommend this dish to seafood lovers. Their fried mozzarella was wonderfully seasoned and my fiance's chicken parm was also very yummy. It was an expensive meal but perfect for a special occasion. Service was excellent as well.

Re: “Nectar's

Nectar's is that place to play my music and a place to dance until I drop to all the amazing, mesmerizing talent that graces the stage. Also, stabbed food it kinda cool & totally common sense. Also Damon Brink is a Lord of Thunder and Sparkles.

Re: “Donny's NY Pizza & Sports Bar

We have never had any problem with food or service at Donnys the food is always awesome ! When I call for delivery they are always curious and polite even when I'm ordering my "special" salad lol with my extra tomatoes and cucumbers and lots of pickles with two ranch dressings always get what I want and they deliver in pretty good time too. I've really never been disappointed !! Love this place !!!!

Re: “Radio Bean

Radio Bean is an incredible place. It's the jewel of Burlington. Cozy, friendly, eclectic, organic...don't miss it. I'm here right now and the band and atmosphere is blowing my mind.

Re: “Natural Provisions Deli & Café

I do not know how they do it! Anytime, you just walk in and the soups are perfect, and the hot food is also delicious. This is not an easy thing to accomplish. So besides being a great market, this place stacks up as one of the best restaurants in the area as well. With all the flash & pomp around, this little salad bar seems to get it right because someone obviously cares. Thanks.

Re: “A Single Pebble

Single Pebble is by far my favorite restaurant in Burlington. Their dishes are authentic yet innovative and always delicious. I force everyone to eat the mock eel whenever they come to Single Pebble with me because it's unbelievable (and they always agree!). I also love the garlic eggplant, dry fried green beans, and three cup chicken!

Re: “Barrio Bakery

Barrio is one of my favorite places to go and enjoy and a cozy evening visiting with friends while eating delicious pizza. They have classics and unique pizza options and their gluten-free crust is great. They also always have amazing specials that feature local, seasonal veggies and meats. Another nice feature is they have a regular rotation of art on display.

Re: “99 Asian Market Eatery

A hidden treasure in the North End! This is the Asian Market across from the former Q-Tees dairy bar. They are Nepalese, and have authentic Indian fare on the menu. We crave good Indian and it's hard to find in Vermont.. we go to Montreal for it. Tried the Vegetable Thali, which had an assortment of all our favorites- papadum, naan, aloo gobi, lentil dal, and a matar paneer that was to DIE for. All really clean, tidy, nice seating area, great family feel. Such reasonable prices. Tikka is an amazing cook! Everyone there is so nice! Definitely making this a regular date night.

Re: “Chop Shop Hair Design

I have to say since I moved back to VT two years ago I have struggled to find a hair salon that I truly trust...Chop Shop is the first salon that has competent stylists that know how to color hair appropriately without frying your hair...These stylists know what they are doing...I bounced around between multiple ppl there and was never disappointed, now I go to Alicia who can give you a city quality cut/color with a BTV price:) I will never search for a salon again! I highly reccomend going there! Don't believe the negative reviews you see online, they're posted from people that don't understand what a coloring process takes!

Re: “Dharshan Namaste Asian Deli (Winooski)

This place is great! Very nice staff. It can take a while to get your food when they get busy but it always comes out tasty and large portions. Chicken dumplings, beef noodle soup and fried rice are so good. Also the spicy wings and Pork Bahn mi are great. BYOB. We like the cozy and sometimes awkward setting. We need more family run restaurants like this.

Re: “A Single Pebble

The chef's tasting menu was out of this world. Each dish was prepared with care and nicely presented and described by the servers. There was so much food! I loved every dish from start to finish and the service was excellent. Well done, A Single Pebble.

Re: “Dharshan Namaste Asian Deli (Winooski)

Quickly I became a regular at this tiny restaurant of food made with fresh ingredients & generous portions. A wonderful aroma welcomes you upon entering stimulating the appetite.

A small menu yet nice selection for a palate that enjoys Nepalese & Vietnamese foods. Noodles, momo, pho, bahn mi, vegetables, fresh spring rolls, chicken, beef or rice. Beautiful presentation & consistent preparation never disappoints.

Gratefully their food stays true to culture norm. Not swayed by an American version. The flavor fusion is a refreshing tasty balance. If you expect hot you got it! If not that's ok too.

Staff is always friendly & accommodating. Seating is limited. Take out is available. Enjoy!

Re: “Happy Belly Deli & Grill

Been there twice now for their interesting, delicious, and filling paninis and wraps and we'll head back there soon. I chose five stars because of the good value, friendly service, quality food and unique menu. They have a few small tables if you'd like to "eat in," but it's a convenient counter service and take-out (or clean up after yourself) place. Easy parking, sparkling restroom and just a block from the Winooski roundabout.

Re: “Pingala Café & Eatery

The freshest of the fresh, you are not skimping on flavor or yummy eats by springing for this little friendly vegan spot. I love Pingala because it's affordable and I've never been disappointed. I especially love the spring rolls with pickled veggies and peanut sauce, kickin' buffalo wrap, and the hash and scramble wrap. The smoothies are yummy and given in a tall pint glass. The baked goods are from 7 Sisters Bakery and out of this world good, especially the maple donuts.
