Re: “Juniper

Beautiful Space! Nice vibe, great atmosphere.

Unfortunately, it seems that no one in the kitchen has any idea what "food" is supposed to taste like.

Bland would have been an improvement.

In all honesty, everything could have been sent back to the kitchen, but instead we just won't be back.

I am intrigued by the asado night idea, but have no anticipation that it will be done acceptably...

I hope somebody new takes this over.

Re: “The Blue Stone

good pizza...still stupid.
We went back and ordered more carefully, and were able to enjoy a wonderful ROMA and White License Plate pizza. I hope they don't secretly keep those names & just change the ingredients. Came back 2 more times, parked, and found that all 20 or so seats were taken and would be for quite a while... so we went elsewhere. I find this pretty stupid, because this space could (and has!) easily accommodate twice as many tables/seats as it now has... but I guess they like to turn away lots of potential diners... or maybe they are just too involved in their "Flintstone" ambiance. Re: “Positive Pie (Montpelier)

What a difference a year makes!
I Have been hard on P-Pie in the past, so they need to hear what a great job they are doing right now. The current crew is turning out some of the best food in Vermont... period. The pizzas are at their best ever, but what is more amazing is that some of the entrees have become spectacular! The lamb chops are masterful... better than NECI has produced in a decade. Re: “Positive Pie (Montpelier)

MUCH IMPROVED!
The pizzas are now consistently delicious, and the salads are also fresh and crunchy. Tried some entrees...scallops with pork belly was a standout. Who ever the chef is, he knows what he is doing! Also, the wine list is updated and much better than it was. I like to see a restaurant going in this direction... when most are going the other way. Food: 4 Ambiance: 4 Service: 4

Re: “Kismet

done with this joint
There is NO consistency here. I thought the burgers would at least be OK, but on my recent and final visit it became apparent that there is no reason to assume that what comes out of that kitchen constitutes acceptable food. Food: 1 Ambiance: 2 Service: 3

Re: “Misery Loves Co.

Worth a trip!
Hungry at lunchtime? It is amazing how far out of my way i will go to get to Misery! The Porchetta is nearly perfect, but I also really like the other things I have tried... but I usually order the Porchetta. Food: 5 Ambiance: 4 Service: 4

Re: “Zen Gardens

Getting better & better!
I am glad to find new and delicious items every time I come. While my old faves are gone, there is plenty to like and most recently the Mala seafood! I am glad to see that every time I come now there are plenty of other patrons... I guess it is finally catching fire! It stands to reason, since this is probably the ONLY Asian restaurant South of Montreal and North of Boston that is worth visiting. Food: 4 Ambiance: 5 Service: 5
