Re: “Bluebird Barbecue”

Tonight I had the most enjoyable burger (for me) that I've had since 1994. Serious props to Bluebird BBQ - first time on the East Coast that I've not put ketchup on hamburger. My wife was shocked, she'd never seen me do that. Seared on the outside, totally pink and warm to hot through the middle, juicy and delightful. She took a bite, her eyes widened, she grinned and said, "Ohmygod I just want to slurp this." Perfect.

The poutine is excellent, the ribs are fantastic...but this was something special. I like my meat a bit more rare than many people, but their presentation was perfect for me. Nothing frilly, no bells and whistles, just excellent beef perfectly prepared on a simple bun with great cheese. Thank you!
