Re: “'Girl in the Other Room'

Whenever I watch a play or movie that stays with me days after seeing it, I feel that it has risen above the norm. The Girl in the Other Room is one of those performances. It successfully bought me back to my childhood and my relationship with my own mother at that time. It's ability to do this and leave me mulling over it's message was, for me, the real strength of this play. The use of Vicks was a stroke of genius because it surely connects all of us to our childhoods. If that statement intrigues you, I strongly urge you to experience this story for yourself. If you're like me, you'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll hear some enjoyable and meaningful music all while supporting Alzheimer's research.
