Re: “Vermont’s F-35 Opponents Get Their Day in Court

Love to know where Mr Davis discovered that "the F-35s,... are louder than the F-16s" You should separate your editorial position from your report .
Read the following for a less biased report " F-35, F-16 Noise Difference Small, Netherlands Study Shows May 31, 2016 /Tony Osborne | Aerospace Daily & Defense Report"…

Re: “Drink Up: Middlebury Chocolates' Made-to-Order Shake

I'm sure the milkshakes are good at Middlebury Chocolates but how much are they ? Their price for a regular size chocolate bar is $6.95 . Shockingly they also sell "limited editions" of the same size 2 ounce bars for $16 .Seriously ? I'm thinking Lindt or Ghirardelli are good enough for me .I'm also wondering what a shake costs here .

Re: “The Gun: How I Bought an AR-15 in a Five Guys Parking Lot

Seven Days has $500 to buy a prop ?

Guns don't kill people . People who never would be able to kill, or kill so many without a gun , kill people .

Re: “Coalition Asks UVM to Provide More Student Housing on Campus

UVM is the single biggest engine of growth in Burlington . It's students and employees contribute massively to the area economy . Yes they tighten the housing market but overall they are a huge benefit to businesses , services and actually improve the housing stock .
BTW , if you are going to make up numbers how about realizing that the UVM community lives in the GREATER Burlington area , not just the town itself . Why is this institution always the negative focus of the leftovers from the 60's ?
Flame away .

Re: “City Market May Open Store in Old North End

I like eating lunch at City Market .but agree with the Mindbender that day to day shopping is too expensive for most North Enders . Besides that the prospective location at 242 North Winooski Ave just over a half a mile from the current location . A half mile away ? Isn't this just hubris on the part of City Market management ?
