Re: “Final Tour of St. Joseph's Orphanage Spurs Haunting Memories

Nice article . It's a pleasure to read a piece about this orphanage where the emphasis is on the personal recollections of former residents and not about the agenda of the writer . Very touching . Very human .

Re: “Bye-Bye, Billy: Sorrell's Hubris Claims His Career

I am not sure why you believe Heinz has written a smear job Mr Wilson . Sorrell may have been a good (great ?) Attorney General but just because he is 70 with 30 years on the job does not excuse his recent actions starting with the vindictive persecution of Dean Corren . His actions in this matter have been an expensive embarrassment for Vermont . In short , he is not "justly entitled" to leave on his own terms . His days of being the judge and executioner are over . Its time for others to judge him .

Great reporting Mr Heintz .

Re: “At Liberty University, Sanders Quotes the Bible, Defends Abortion

As always impressed that Bernie is willing to go into the lion's den. Since we are talking about Liberty University , this is from Daniel 6:16 .
I just wish these people cared more about the caretakers and protectors of the unborn, their parents ! These folks seem to only care about the "lives" of fetuses .

Re: “Barely Educational: A student exposes his summer job — at a strip club

I wonder what's changed in the strip club business since 1998 . With today's free unlimited on-line porn, things must have changed things for the worse (not that I'd know I swear) .

Re: “Anger Management: Sanders Fights for Employees, Except His Own

Bernie is decidedly not warm and cuddly and often deliberately confrontational . Being on the right (in the context of Vermont) , his actions can make me furious . Having said this I'm starting to believe that 7D's is taking the old Japanese proverb "The nail that sticks out shall be hammered down " as its editorial stance when covering the Sanders campaign .Is he becoming too big for his britches according to you ?
Besides the above , this article has a real smarmy title .

BTW , I'm impressed by all the posts so perhaps the author is to be commended . Perhaps not .

Re: “Burlington College Preps for a Big Test

How can you write a lengthy article about an educational institution trying its best to extricate itself from a crushing situation without naming the person who engineered this quagmire namely Jane Sanders ? With her husbands current national political success, is mentioning his wife's immoral behavior and incompetence considered bad taste ? Perhaps .

Re: “Frustration Over Police Chief Search Prompts Calls for Change

Just some helpful advice to Councilor Sara Giannoni , ignore the lunatic fringe from the left . They may be loud but they are impotent and represent very few . I'd give the same advice to reps in others states to ignore the lunatic fringe from the right but since this is Vermont my advice is to disregard the lefties..
