My understanding is that Jane Knodell helped engineer the current Burlington College luxury real-estate land deal as a last ditch effort to save the college. She’s a college trustee and she helped the college restructure their agreement with the private developers so the college received more money up front from the deal.
So, it's amazingly hypocritical of her to direct criticism at the mayor’s economic development policies when she’s willing to enable one of the city’s biggest hi-end luxury housing proposals in years when it suits her interests.
It’s also very weird to see Goodkind and Guma criticizing the mayor for the land deal at Burlington College when it’s Jane and her follow college trustees that are responsible for the potential loss of green space.
