This movie is degrading to women and glamorizes abuse-things like stalking or other abusive practices are not okay, and this movie makes it look like it is. Considering the amount of domestic violence rape etc. and how hard it is to do anything but blame the victim, and the way our rape culture says "She wanted it"-this movie is a nasty piece of work. However it may be framed, the message is the same. If this were a real life story, we would see this as a young women being drawn in by a predatory guy.
