As a current LSC student, I'd like to point out that the students HAVE brought up many concerns to Jeb, especially at the previous meeting (before the one mentioned in this article). It's clear based on the article that Jeb is not interested in what the students think.
Jay Shafer is on point. This proposal has the distinctive feel that Jeb has made up his mind and is barreling through with it, even though there are numerous questions (including financial and financial aid questions) that have not been answered. He is simply going too fast with this, and it's going to hurt both colleges if he and the Board of Trustees don't slow down and take a more measured look.
