Re: “After String of Losses, Sanders Says He’ll Remain in Race

It's an open secret that the Biden campaign is limiting his public speaking engagements. I'll be interested to see whether the moderators lob him softballs and whether Bernie, not known to go after other (Dem) candidates gets confrontational. What of the former Veep's lucidity issues?
Entertaining, indeed.

Re: “Bernie vs. ‘Richie Rich’: The 2006 Race That Prepared Sanders for Bloomberg

I wonder if a Senator Tarrant would have actually been present in the Senate representing our state. We'll never know.

Re: “Burlington Advises Residents to Boil Water as a Precaution

Localmotion seems to have a solution for the rest of Burlington's ills; let them take care of it.

Re: “Media Note: WCAX Lays Off Six Employees

I feel bad for those who remain. The company I worked for was 'acquired' and then 're-acquired' and at each turn there were fewer people. That, in turn, equated to poorer and poorer service to our customers.
We have noticed a drop in production quality since WCAX was sold. The channel was The Standard in the area.
It now appears to be a race to the bottom.

Re: “Sean Hannity's Real Estate Empire Includes Okemo Condo

I'm struggling to decipher why this is news. While not a fan of Mr Hannity (nor Ms Maddow for that matter) one of 870 properties, even though it's in VT should really be nothing more than a footnote, shouldn't it?

Re: “Shotgun Marriage? Johnson and Lyndon State Colleges Rush to the Altar

This is really a downward spiral, born significantly from the state's lack of support. You could see this (and probably other drastic measures) coming when Mr. Spaulding asked the legislature last year for a special tax, on candy I believe, to help support the colleges. I am familiar with Lyndon, less so with Johnson and agree that any name change could hurt future graduates, especially in the Meteorology and Electronic Journalism curricula; both of which are ranked in the top 10 nationwide.
I don't see a merger boosting enrollment. I hope I'm wrong.
