Jane Lindholm, VPR — As noon rolls around and VPR cranks up its “Vermont Edition” theme music by Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Vermonters count on Jane Lindholm for a deep dive into local politics, arts, culture and pressing social issues of the day, be they bees, bats, Bernie Sanders or binge drinking. Listeners know Lindholm will ask incisive and informed questions without getting too wonky or into the weeds, and politely but firmly keep the conversation focused and civil. Clearly, her three-month maternity leave didn’t dent Lindholm’s popularity one bit.
