TOE TRUCKIN’
When your digits get a hankering for some comfy sod, look no farther than the soft western slopes of the Shelburne Museum, where Higher Ground holds its Concerts on the Green summer music series. The grassy field provides just enough tickle without the prick of jagged pine cones or pebbles. When the setting sun warms the tops of your feet and the evening’s gathering dew cools your soles, it’s like nature’s Icy Hot. If you’re sociable, there are plenty of opportunities for hoof canoodling. Bare-footsie, anyone? Oh, and don’t worry about bogarting this grass. There’s plenty to go around, and it’s legal.
