Far Outsourcing

New York City trio Consider the Source trade in a unique style they aptly refer to as "sci-fi Middle Eastern fusion." Blending elements of jazz and prog rock with sounds both worldly (Middle Eastern) and otherworldly (you'll just have have to hear it), the band appeals to a wide array of music fans, from wiggly jam heads to skull-rattling headbangers to chin-stroking jazz hepcats. CTS play the Higher Ground Showcase Lounge in South Burlington this Saturday, February 28, with local rockers Coquette.
