"We've all felt like freaks at some point, or lived through seasons of our lives that felt like we were in a freak show." So writes Lisa Lillibridge in an artist statement about her new exhibit, "Freakshow," at Burlington restaurant Revolution Kitchen. Her colorful, carved relief paintings and mixed-media constructions are fabricated from found and donated objects. The work is inspired by both her fascination with vintage carnival signs and her thoughts on complicated family relationships. "Freakshow," is on view through mid-June, and will evolve as Lillibridge replaces pieces that are sold.
