Today's Seven Days is the food issue, and we've decided to roll out the new Seven Nights website to coincide with that happy fact. Seven Nights is our annual restaurant guide. We're now working on the 3rd one, which will come out next spring. The 7 Nights website has all the guide's listings online in a new, easily searchable database.
The thing I'm most excited is this blog-like feature — users (like you) can write restaurant reviews on the site. I haven't actually tried doing this yet, but I invite anybody to try it and report on your experience in the comments thread here. I'm interested to see how it'll work. Looks like you have to "sign up," though I'm not sure what that means exactly. Haven't done it yet. You get entered to win a gift certificate, though. There's one available each week.

Since 2014, Seven Days has allowed readers to comment on all stories posted on our website. While we’ve appreciated the suggestions and insights, the time has come to shut them down — at least temporarily.
While we champion free speech, facts are a matter of life and death during the coronavirus pandemic, and right now Seven Days is prioritizing the production of responsible journalism over moderating online debates between readers.
To criticize, correct or praise our reporting, please send us a letter to the editor. Or send us a tip. We’ll check it out and report the results.
Online comments may return when we have better tech tools for managing them. Thanks for reading.
