Stuck in Vermont: Drawing Graphic Memoirs at The Center for Cartoon Studies

Episode 582

Published July 5, 2019 at 6:00 a.m. | Updated October 13, 2020 at 7:17 p.m.

This week is the Cartoon Issue of Seven Days, so we traveled down to White River Junction to get a tour of The Center for Cartoon Studies. During the school year, you can get an MFA in cartooning at CCS; during the summers, it holds workshops for the comic-inclined. We visited Melanie Gillman's graphic memoir workshop on its last day to meet some of the students and see their final projects.

Shooting date: 6/28/19

Music; Eveningland, "Can't Sleep" & "Indigo"
