Menus Posted: Three Tomatoes Trattoria

6a00d83451b91969e20167632a62e5970b-200wiIn Vermont, the name Three Tomatoes Trattoria is synonymous with bubbling, thin-crust pizzas. But the menu is also chock full of hearty dishes loaded with local meats, cheeses and veggies— and during Restaurant Week, the chefs are planning to have some fun with it.

For $10, lunch guests at both the Williston and Burlington locations will be treated to three courses of Italian street food: a salad of local greens and tomatoes; an Umbrian sausage grinder with broccoli rabe (on Red Hen Baking Company grinder); and pistachio gelato.

Those in search of dinner can hit the Rutland branch, where a $35, four-course feast begins with pan-seared shrimp with Vermont bacon, salsa verde and Parmesan p0lenta and ends with a Tuscan bread pudding topped with maple syrup and whipped cream — with all kinds of good stuff in between.
