Obituary: Charlene F. Young

Charlene F. Young, age 60, a resident of the Machia Road died Tuesday morning June 4, 2013, at the Northwestern Medical Center with loving family at her side.

Born in St. Albans on November 26, 1952, she was the daughter of Pauline (Santor) Bruley and the late Harold Santor. She was raised and attended schools in Alburgh and on December 22, 1970, was married to Richard Edward Young who survives her.

As a devoted wife and mother Charlene adored her grandchildren. She was a life member of the Weight Watchers Program and enjoyed sitting in the sun. She often attended St. Anne's Shrine in Isle La Motte.

Besides her husband of 42 years, Charlene leaves her mother, Pauline (Bruley) Santor of S. Alburgh; her son Adam Young and his wife Melinda of Milton; two grandsons, Zachary and Thomas Young of Milton; three sisters, Carol Tyrrell, Colleen Pare and Cherrie Santor and a brother, Carlton Santor and his wife Rhonda all of S. Alburgh as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, Harold Santor, Charlene was predeceased by a son, Aaron Young and a sister Carmella Santor.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday June 8, 2013, at 12 Noon from The Kidder Memorial Home, 89 Grand Ave., Swanton. Father Emmanuel I. Ajanma will officiate. The Rite of Committal and Interment will take place privately at the Young family lot in Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the funeral.
