Obituary: Everett S. Stearns

Everett S. Stearns, 81, of Johnson died peacefully at home on May 19, 2013. He was born February 10, 1932 in Johnson, the son of the late Leo

and Ruth Stearns. Everett was a lifetime dairy farmer and enjoyed the

outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Marilynn Chase

Stearns, 5 children, Kevin Stearns of Johnson, Kimberly (Terry) Edeler of Hortonville, WI, Curtis (Lisa) Stearns of Johnson, Christopher (Jeanne) Stearns of Johnson and Kent (Monica) Stearns of Alexandria, VA.

Grandchildren, Kevin Jr. and Travis Stearns, Nathan and Nicholas Edeler, Jacob Stearns, Marc and Emily Stearns. A brother Wayne Stearns of Johnson, sisters, Frances Sargent of Prescott Valley, AZ, Leone Lanphear (Lynn) of Hyde Park and Dorene (Robert) Bocock of Bullard, TX. He was predeceased by a grandson Anthony Stearns. Visiting hours will be held on Friday May 24 from 4 to 8 pm. At the des Groseilliers Funeral Home in Johnson. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lamoille Home Health and Hospice, 54 Farr Ave., Morrisville, VT 05661.
