Obituary: Ronald R. Lambert Sr.

Ronald R. Lambert, Sr., 76 passed away on Wed. Nov. 5,2014 at Fletcher-Allen Healthcare.

He was born in Burlington on July 16, 1938 the son of Arthur J. and Anna (Hance) Lambert. After attending Burlington Schools, he went on to serve in the U.S. Army. He married the former Charlene M. Rose in 1961 and they raised three children. He is survived by Charlene, his wife of 52 years. Children; Ron, Jr. of Colchester; Deirdre Prim and husband Reid, Sr. of Milton and Lori Martin and husband, Chuck of Belvidere; Grandchildren: Reid, Jr., A.J. and wife, Christine, Christopher and Kaycee Ann; Brothers and wives; Art and Carol Lambert and Paul and Rose Lambert; Sister in law, Donna Lambert.

Ron was a cook in various resturants and a driver for Benways taxi. He was an avid Red socks and Nascar fan. He will be remembered for his kindness, jokes and great smiles.

There will be a celebration of his life held next summer at a time to be announced.
