She also leaves her sister Peggy Wimble and her husband Richard of Fairfax, brother Richard Phillips and his wife Shelley of St. Albans, her half-sister Pauline Tatro of Swanton, and her half-brothers Abraham Tatro of St. Albans, and Leon Tatro of Vermont. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Steven Hakey, her sister Bonnie Tatro, her brothers Abraham Tatro, and Allan Phillips, a half-sister Linda Tatro, and a half-brother Bruce Tatro.

At Susan’s request there will be no funeral services. Memorials may be sent in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 55 Day Lane, Williston, Vermont 05495.
