The Film Commission supports film and commercial productions in a variety of ways. From locations to crew requirements, the commission is a one-stop shop for filmmakers who are planning to shoot in our state. We offer filmmakers from within and outside Vermont assistance their locations, crews, personnel and logistical needs. The organization’s extensive database of crews and locations and knowledgeable staff help producers and directors find the production personnel and locations they need for their films. The film commission assists with technical and logistical questions like traffic and crowd control, and acts as a go-between with Vermont's state and local police. It also help productions secure permits, help navigate Vermont's state agencies, and act as a liaison with the state's cities and towns.
