Winner: TURN, TURN, TURN Nice rack, yo! In recent years, the Daysies competition for best bike shop in Chittenden County has become almost as grueling as the Tour de France mountain stage, minus the doping scandals and hyperinflated egos. This year SkiRack, on lower Main Street, took home the yellow jersey, leading the pack among Seven Days readers and riders. With plenty of wicking wear, outdoor accessories and sundry sporting goods to choose from, the Rack tempts local cycling enthusiasts to pop in for its impressive selection of two-wheelers, whether they’re in the market for a bad-ass BMX, a knobby-tired mud bike, a tandem cruiser or a high-end road racer. And with a repair crew that’s second to none, you won’t even have to get your fingers greasy. Saddle up! - Ken Picard
