17 East

Published November 3, 2006 at 6:49 p.m.

17 East is an Original Alternative/Indie rock band from the central Champlain Valley. The Alternative Rock genre is quite eclectic, and 17 East explores its' boundaries with a sound ranging from mellow acoustic numbers to window rattling rockers. Mixed in with a number of originals are a number of select covers from bands such as Radiohead, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Audio Slave, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Blind Melon. We are happy to tailor our set to suit any venue. Our diversity gives us the ability to creat set lists suitable for coffee houses to night clubs and outdoor festivals. What we offer is an exciting show featuring the bellowing vocals of award-winning vocalist, Renee Jackson, tight percussive rhythyms and ripping leads.
