Re: “Work: Veterinarian Sarah Hoy Is Focused on Animal Eye Care

Dr. Hoy ruled out glaucoma in our 7 year old dog and it was later determined that he had cancer near his optic nerves, causing the symptoms. We are very thankful for her, because it led to getting the treatment he needed.

Re: “Work: Veterinarian Sarah Hoy Is Focused on Animal Eye Care

Dr. Hoy did surgery twice (different eyes each time) on my Boxer, who had corneal ulcers. I can't praise her talent, her compassion, and her attention enough. We're lucky to have a professional like her in our state!

Re: “Work: Hypnotist Karen Gray Makes Suggestions

P.S. it looks like hypnosis is not regulated in Vermont. Something to consider.

And why is it called Green Mountain Hypnosis? She lives in White River Junction but her practice is in New Hampshire. How about White Mountain Hypnosis?

Re: “Safe at Home

Amazing post! I really appreciate your work, very informative and helpful post about locksmiths. I once hired Locksmith in Sacramento when I locked my room door and lost the keys, he worked so professionally and rekey the door. http://www.kingslocksmith.org

Re: “Work: Singer Ashley O'Brien's Audiences Span Cradle to Grave

I certainly dont want to come across as flip or disrespectful to Ms OBrien. Im sure her work as a church singer brings her great satisfaction knowing that her talent brings comfort to many people. However, there are scores of church musicians who specifically train to be church musicians. It is a true vocation/ministry - not a gig or performance. They dont get booked. Such training includes study in music, theology and pastoral studies. For these folks, their musical service (or calling) to the church is a true ministry not a gig or performance as this article often indicates. They serve at mass rather thando mass. She claims that sometimes she does multiple masses a week so she knows what she is getting into to. What does that mean? I fully believe that it was the authors intention to raise up Ms OBriens gifts but I feel that it cheapened the role of music in the church.

I attended Emery in 1975. When did you study there?

Re: “Work: Attorney Chris Larson Is a Divorce Coach

His last name is wrong in the title, it's Larson.

Re: “Got an Unwanted Tattoo? Call Don Baker

As the owner and founder of laser tattoo removal of Vermont and Vermont laser services, I would like to thank Ken Picard, Matthew Thorsen and Seven Days for offering your readership a glimpse inside our building adjacent to 189 with the sign " Laser Tattoo Removal of Vermont". The sign has certainly become a source of curiosity, smirks and often self-reflection. I would never have guessed four years ago that I'd be helping people in this manner. For my staff and myself it has been rewarding beyond our expectations. I want to thank every single patient who has offered us their confidence by allowing us to help them move from one phase of their life to the next. We are proud of what we do and take great joy in doing so.

The old saying "do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life" certainly applies!

Re: “Got an Unwanted Tattoo? Call Don Baker

I made a poor choice of tattoos in an area that was very visible and thought I'd live with it forever - until I went to see Don Baker at Laser Tattoo Removal of Vermont. Don and his team made me feel welcome and worked what I consider to be nothing shy of a miracle. I'll be forever grateful for their excellent work!

Re: “Got an Unwanted Tattoo? Call Don Baker

I've been to several tattoo removal facilities in the past, and this is by far the best. They are always cordial, understanding, and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone.

Re: “Got an Unwanted Tattoo? Call Don Baker

I highly recommend going to see Don. His place is clean, inviting, and he is very professional. Most importantly, the tattoo that he is removing is almost out of my life forever, after just 3 treatments....best thing to do is not get a tattoo (or at least put a lot of thought into it), but if you did, and you want it removed you will be very satisfied with Don!!!
