Re: “Obituary: Susan Brody Hasazi, 1947-2019

Beautiful, strong, compassionate, accomplished these are a few words that explain this amazing woman. For the past 4 years Susan has been a integral part of my family. Susans beautiful smile was a perfect way to start and end every day. Even though we are apart her spirts lives on in us forever.

Re: “Obituary: Thomas Nelson, 1941-2019

I have many fond memories from long ago of traveling and working with Tom. It has been many years since I've seen him and I regret that I hadn't crossed paths with him for so long. I wonder if there will be any gathering and celebration of Tom's life. My sincere condolences to his family. He was quite a guy!

Re: “Obituary: Madelyn Linsenmeir, 1988-2018

I'm so sorry, I wish what I'm suffering from was a disease but unfortunately it's not. It was a choice to begin using and the hold on me is stronger than me so I guess that would be a weakness on my part. I wish everyone the strength to battle their addiction and those who aren't make the right choice and don't swallow that first pill.

Re: “Obituary: John Bowles, 1970-2019

Heartbreaking. John was a good friend in grade school and high school. One of the most intelligent and funniest of all my friends back then. He and I both shared an odd sense of humor, and I loved that about him. Crushed to hear this sad news today. RIP John.

Re: “Obituary: John Bowles, 1970-2019

Forever in my heart, John's memory will always bring a smile to my face. Our late night talks about a million little things carried me through and lifted me up during my lowest lows of depression and insomnia. His heart was bigger than any mountain he tackled.
I love you, Doll. You are and forever will be, The Tits to all the lives you touched. XO

I worked with Marcia on many social justice issues over the years and know we are indebted to her contributions in helping our community.

Re: “Obituary: Madelyn Linsenmeir, 1988-2018

I am so very sorry for your loss. There, but for the grace of God, go I. One of the hardest things for loved ones to deal with, and something that happens to everyone, regardless of intelligence, Home life, or economics. Unfortunately, there are no easy answers. None. One day at a time is something too many of us deal with. Whether the addict, or their family. God bless.
