Re: “Our Picks for Burlington-Area Breakfast Restaurants

Penny Cluse is overrated.. plenty of better places around like Leunigs which didn't even get a mention.

Re: “Summer Vacation Guide: Chittenden County

Well, the article shared above is really helpful. Summer is the season, when everyone plan for the family outing. So, it is very important that one cannot forget to take cake of their health. Especially skin and eyes get affected most in the summer. Therefore, some safety measures must be taken before to protect them like always wear wholesale sunglasses while outing, apply some sun screen creams before going out and many more. Along with this some other fashion accessories are available at sites like https://citysunglass.com/product-category/unisex-sunglasses, Amazon, etc. for the summer.

Re: “WTF, BTV? Answers to Your Questions About Local Oddities

The sad truth, I think, Vermont has been mis sold as an open minded well educated state. Yet, the baby circ rate is monster big at 70 percent. Vermont still claims a budget issue but never fails to pay for the strapping down of boys and sexually assaulting them. You all should watch the new documentary, American Circumcision, but sadly it won't change a thing will it? So much for liberal breast feeding Vermont. BTW Oregon has a baby mutilation rate of 15 percent ! And Vermont has junkies at an all time record. I don't correlate the two issues, but infant circumcision does alter pain responses for life.

Re: “Roll With It: Two-wheeling in Burlington

My kid & I just rode 2 abreast when taking the lane traveling East on Lakeside Ave because the landscaping truck behind us was looking to pass us where it wasn't safe or necessary.
Many places in Burlington it is necessary to take the lane because of tight squeezes or on street parking door zones. Drivers often don't respect safe passing distances riding 2 abreast is the safest option to fully take the lane.

Re: “Timeline: Vermont Moves Toward Marijuana Legalization

Great timeline! I think Scott was still making up some poor excuses to not pass the pot bill into law! The question for him is why not? Other states have no problem passing laws to approve it. Stop being an old redneck! It is safer than drinking...

Hi Pgy - Thanks for your comment! This deal guide is from 2016, so many of these deals are out of date, but you can find an updated guide right here:

Can you release an updated version of this? The Nectars deal is no longer true.

Re: “Lake Effect: Get Your Feet Wet With Our Lake Champlain Primer

The state's "most precious resource" is turning into the state's biggest toilet bowl thanks to all the pollution and nothing being done about it.

Re: “Ground Crew: Meet Heavy Equipment Operator and Carpenter, Gerry Carey

Jerry is a great guy and hard worker. I worked in Law enforcement for some time at the "port " and Jerry was always willing to build whatever was needed. A nicer guy you will never find. Thanks for your service Jerry.. Thumbs up....from Gordy

Re: “What's Good 2016: An Intro to Your Intro to Burlington

Here's a response from our circulation manager, Matt Weiner:

Thanks so much for the inquiry, Allie! The What's Good 2016 edition, which we published last August, was in very high demand and most of the remaining copies were circulated a couple of months ago. There may still be some available at Burlington-area hotels, but best bet for obtaining one would be to stop by our offices at 255 S. Champlain St. in Burlington, Monday through Friday 9-5. Also, keep an eye out for What's Good 2017, which will be hitting the streets in late August!

Re: “Where's Bernie? An Interactive Map

I am born and raised a Vermonter. My parents were also born and raised in Vermont. I have raised my own Children here in the great state of Vermont! My blood-line has been tied to Vermont for 100's of years. Very proud of that!
Now here come Bernie Sanders. The world is falling in love with him, even though the Media, newspapers. some talk radio is AGAINST him. He has always had to fight for what he has wanted in his life, but I will say this, every fight was to help BETTER other people's life. Bernie AKA "We The People" is the best way to describe him. Listen up folks, it is CRUNCH TIME and we have to work harder and harder then we have ever at any point in this race.. WE are all in this together. Talk, share his message, get your parents, friends, neighbors out to VOTE!
