Despite connections with famous producers and other rappers, Busdriver seems forever relegated to the fringe, unable to shake the “indie” or “alternative” label. In 2014, FACT Magazine published what it referred to as the “definitive Busdriver interview,” in which he speaks candidly about his love for his hometown, the stigma of the “indie” label, the pitfalls of mixtape culture and his career trajectory. Busdriver performs on Thursday, June 29, at ArtsRiot in Burlington. at ArtsRiot in Burlington (map). $12/14. Buy Tickets
