    In July, jazz vocalist Veronica Swift performed “I’m Hip,” a song from her 2019 album Confessions, on WBGO’s “Singers Unlimited” alongside pianist Emmet Cohen. Video of the performance shows the 25-year-old chanteuse channeling the music not just through her voice but also her physical movements — think fluid hand gestures, subtle dance steps and rhythmic head bobs.
