    T. Namaya

    T. Namaya

    Wed., May 31, 7-8:30 p.m.

Vermont entertainer T. Namaya wears many hats — poet, humorist, raconteur, playwright and visual artist among them. Though he has graced stages around the globe, works such as his 2011 album Vermont My Home: A Celebration prove that Namaya’s roots are firmly planted in the Green Mountain State. The troubadour turns up at Montpelier’s Kellogg-Hubbard Library, where banners bearing his poetry currently hang, to perform selections from his new book, Celebrate Life: Viva La Vida. Ranging from poems to stories to songs, these excerpts celebrate life, love, travel and the penman’s Vermont neighbors. at Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier. Barre/Montpelier (map). Free.
