    Vermont Flurry: Woodstock Snow Sculpture Festival


    Sun., Feb. 17, 10 a.m.-10 p.m.

    In this celebration of winter and the visual arts, professional snow sculpting teams compete over three- days. Visitors vote for “Peoples’ Choice” sculpture. The winner of the “Team Vote” will compete in the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition in Lake Geneva, Wisc. Winners announced on Sunday, February 17, 12:15 p.m. at Woodstock Village Green in Woodstock. Upper Valley (map). Free.

    Cold-Snow-and-Warm-Hearts-Post-Valentine’s-Day Snowman Building Contest


    Sun., Feb. 17, 3-6 p.m.

    All ages are invited to create snowpeople and partake in hot chocolate and treats. BYO building equipment, and dress warmly. at The Museum of Everyday Life in Glover. Northeast Kingdom (map). Free.

    Collaborative Art Project


    Tue., Feb. 19, 2:30-4:30 p.m.

    Participants are invited to make an abstract painting that will hang behind the library's youth desk. Materials provided. at Brownell Library in Essex Junction. Chittenden County (map).

    Open Studio Figure Drawing


    First and Third Tuesday of every month, 3-5:30 p.m.
