    This annual exhibit showcases stone sculptures and assemblages by area artists, September 17 through November 2. We are also looking for 2D works that display the qualities of stone.     SPA has received funding to support an 11-month studio residency program for November 20, 2019, to October 31, 2020. A small private studio on the second floor of the visual arts center will be provided at no charge to an emerging artist from the greater Barre/Montpelier area who wants to build a new body of work for exhibition.
