    Pennsylvania-born, Vermont-based collage artist Tasiopoulos considers herself a collector of second-hand images — particularly “cabinet card” portrait photography and figure studies from more than a century ago. Feminist educator Dubois, who teaches at a therapeutic high school in Poultney, works in assemblage, flash poetry, collage and painting to investigate history, text and place. The women’s simpatico artworks comprise a current exhibit titled “Remembrance” at River Arts in Morrisville. With meticulously layered pieces, they bring images from the past to bear on still-relevant meditations on human — particularly female — mystery. at Gallery at River Arts in Morrisville.
