    Wed., March 20, 7:30 p.m.

If you browse Andy Frasco’s Instagram account, there’s a brief smattering of things you’ll see: the Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter dunking a basketball while crowd-surfing, Photoshopped images of the artist riding atop grizzly and polar bears, and a clip of him smoking a pipe the size of a ukulele. But most frequently, you’ll see shots of Frasco and his band, the U.N., having as much fun as humanly possible. The group’s giddy blend of gospel-tinged, happy-go-lucky blues-rock elicits an unabashed euphoria, onstage and off. Check out Andy Frasco & the U.N. on Wednesday, March 20, at Nectar’s in Burlington, with support from Wild Adriatic. at Nectar's in Burlington (map). $10.

The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center puts the “peak” in a current visual art exhibition. Though its title refers to the height in feet of Mount Mansfield, artists Trevor Corp, Daniel Schechner and Jackson Tupper were invited to respond to the concept of elevation far less literally. Curator Kelly Holt’s prompts included “an influencer of climate,” “how does pattern language enter the creative process?” and “ascend … form the angle … find the burn, and through it levitate.” The trio responded with photography, paintings, sculpture, prints, animation and collaborative works. at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center, Stowe Mountain Resort in Stowe.
