Its a shame that a well run organization operated with close relationships with clients and employees on a local level is being eliminated by a largely disconnected conglomerate with bean counter consultants who think they are the only ones who know how to do it. Meals on Wheels has been doing this on a budget that this conglomerate will never be able to duplicate, for over 20 years. Pete Carmolli does this with with charm and a love for his clients no one will ever equal. Meals on Wheels of Burlington does not need to be closed down, they need more community support to keep an uncaring govt buracracy from screwing it all up.
