I have professional and moral standards, but I cant always meet everyone's needs - especially when they change suddenly, and that's why I always wish people well when they decide to go with another florist. This dispute has only happened once in my eight years as a business owner, and I'm sure that the "likes" on your comment have been rigged by you. The overwhelming amount of support I receive from the community is earned, because I don't take people for granted. I care about the people I work with, and I care about the community that I am a part of. The positive exposure that I'm receiving is due to the fact that I always try to do the right thing. When I make a mistake I own it, but this wasn't my fault. I'm often in a vulnerable position when I put together a quote and begin the initial design process with a potential client, because they can choose to take that blueprint to someone else and see if they can do it for less, or do more for them than are beyond the boundaries I've set. This is why I do my best to make sure a client really wants to work with me, and why I have them put down a non-refundable deposit. If an adult agrees to that, and then changes their mind, then they walk away without the deposit. But by that point, I have often given them much more of my time and experience than the deposit can really compensate me for.
