Re: “Pop-Up Campers: As a City Policy Rewrite Stalls, the Homeless Pitch Tents

If you dont like it house us?!? Theses people simply dont understand the concepts of personal property and respecting public spaces. I work hard to maintain my property and pay taxes to support public spaces and use public spaces in a way that supports the community. Should society be putting resources into getting citizens into safe living situations absolutely but not at the cost of agency of private property and degradation of public space.

Re: “Seriously: F-35PR

Production value matches the quality of the satire. Thumbs down. The most impressive aspect of this is how hard he panders to the left, honesty amazing.

Re: “An F-35 Preview Shakes Up Winooski

I cant wait for housing prices to drop. Anyone looking to sell a house thats too lound give me a shout. All the rich yuppies/flatlander transplans wont be pricing out locals for once because they are to picky. Love it. I have been living next to F35s for years and could not care less about the noise, its not that bad.

Re: “Piss Poor: Burlington Mulls Proposals for More Public Bathrooms

Im good with letting the private sector take care of it. Last time I had to use a restroom on church street I went to a bar, ordered a shot and took a piss. Fair trade. Public restrooms are almost always nasty as hell, look at the stair well in the church street parking garage... now imagine people shitting in it, oh wait they already do... Even if public bathrooms are put in its a hard pass from me, I wont touch em.

Re: “New Airport Noise Map Is Not Expected to Lead to More Home Demolitions

If you think the guard is getting nukes have you clearly done no research on the nuclear triad. We have ICBMs, submarines, long range bombers (ya know the aircraft that start with a "B" eg. B52, not the F35) and all of those are active duty resorces. There are specific requirements for security and storage of such munitions that a base SHARING A RUNWAY WITH CIVILIANS can not meet. The day all of those federal assets were taken out and it was up to the guard the would probably already be dead. Orical stop fear mongering.

Re: “Welcome Wagon: Vermont Pays Up as Internet Migrants Settle In

They could afford a 450k home and our tax dollars helped them out? How many life long Vermont residence are below the poverty line and could do amazing things with up to 10k free dollars? Insulate a house, pay off a car, get into safe housing... lift them selves out of poverty.

Re: “House Committee Approves New Vetting for Adjutant General Candidates

You have to be a col. and attend war college, unless you're a write in civilian then just send it guy we dont need qualifications. "We have to leave that door open" translation we still want the ability to stick our noses where it does not belong. What a joke. Why don't we let the guard members elect their leader? Seems like we keep treating the military like second class citizens out of fear, god forbid they get to vote on who literally makes life and death calls for them.
