An enterprising reporter should find out how many gallons of fuel the legislature spends to commute to Montpelier for 5 months of the year. Sounds like shorter legislative sessions would not only be good for the environment but also good for keeping these all-stars out of the Montpelier unicorn factory.
"ceremonial role"?
Miss Huling herself is saying she left her substantive role working for Vermont because she needed to support Holcombe in a ceremonial one.
This is your Montpelier, ladies and gentlemen....
If you're all in favor of parents being able to send their kids where they want and to force schools to, oh I don't know, produce a better product - she's not exactly accusing Scott of mass murder here. I agree that her "accusation" is unsubstantiated but Sweet Moses I wish it was.
In what world is it okay for the chair of the SBE to be participating in such a partisan endeavor?
The Vermont Bureaucratic Party rears its ugly head...
Interesting to note that in John's list of productive accomplishments the only one that vaguely smells of economic development is broadband expansion. The fact that the demographic and economic realities remain a raging wildfire and the the Legislature poured its water on everything else means this has been another profoundly unproductive session.
