A good many of the sarcastic comments of the people interviewed here in this article don't like the police to begin with. While oversight isn't a bad thing, there is a lot of administrative work going on with these sheriffs. A five percent compensation fee for administering and supervising all of the back end of these contracts is not a lot of money. If the state thinks they can do it for less .... lets see the highest paid was $70K that's about one mid level state employee.

If some don't live the arraignment then pay these guys what a manager overseeing an operation of numerous employees a fleet of vehicles and do it 24/7 365. You'll see it's a lot more that what they are making. Also I suggest the editors clean up the profanity in your article.
