Major disappointment
Bread - Stale (same bread as hamburger bun) Caesar Salad - Good Burger & Fries- Good burger/stale bun/greasy fries (forgot aoli and a single bottle of ketchup that was bussed from table to table during the meal) Short Ribs with mashed sweet potatoes - Good meat, properly cooked but not at all seasoned, watery mashed potatoes and burnt (charred black) asparagus. Sent asparagus back and came back properly prepared. Apple Tatin ala mode - stale, overcooked, inedible with poor quality ice cream (disgusting) Service - poor (for example, although the restaurant was pretty empty, the waitress took our order while carrying dirty plates from another table). Ambiance - dreadful (cinder block walls , wobbly folding chairs, delaminated formica tables) Even with a $25 gift certificate purchased for $10 and a comped desert, it was a total disappointment and we will not return. Despite the favorable reviews here and on yelp, this restaurant should be avoided. I wish it were otherwise, but it was awful. Food: 2 Ambiance: 1 Service: 1
