Re: “Mama T's Country Kitchen

Melt in your mouth brisket
Overall, I really enjoyed the food here tonight. This place is in a former Quiznos store so that's why i went low on the ambiance rating; it was clean and tidy. I opted for the one meat (brisket for me)and 2 sides meal; a dessert also comes with meal. The brisket was so tender and tasty. Hats off the pit boss who smokes it and I liked the spice rub. Pinto beans and coleslaw accompanied my brisket. I wasn't thrilled about the coleslaw as I found it a little too bland for my taste but the pintos were very good. My after dinner dessert of choice was the pecan pie (they have several selections of dessert to choose from). Being originally from the southern US I'd love to see fried okra and corn bread on their menu but that might be hard for many of the locals to 'swallow'(literally) :-) I will definitely be a repeat customer here. Food: 4 Ambiance: 3 Service: 5
