Mixed Bag
We arrived at 5:15 on a Friday night, we did not have a reservation but at that point the place was fairly empty. This was our first visit. After looking at the table chart for quite a while the hostess took us toward a table and on the way said something to the effect that it should be ok as long as we did not take a "super long time" to eat. My partner asked what a super long time meant and the hostess said something like, no more then an hour. My partner was VERY put off by this and would rather we were told they could not take us then tell us we needed to hurry. One nice result was prompt service, which we both like, but you could tell they were trying to hurry us along.
Only three choices for salad dressing!! The salad was limp greens, the part we usually throw away when we are making a salad. The bread sticks and bread squares were unremarkable. The main courses however were very good. Pasta Alfredo for my partner and I had Penne pasta with marina, mushrooms and garlic. Was very good, very good sized portions. I had one beer and the two meals, and the bill was $37.00, reasonable in our book. Improved service, better salads, and better bread are needed.
