Re: “Crossroads Bar & Grill

Highly underrated eatery, sandwiched between the bank and the Worthy Burger, that's continually heaped with praise, this place is quaint, waitstaff are friendly and efficient, drinks are affordable, and the food is great. try the poutin or the chili-glazed duck wings.

Re: “Who Wants to Work on a Vermont Dairy Farm? A Reporter Spent a Week Finding Out

the comment about pollinators is right- they are in perile. however, he or she who posted this has mixed up chemicals. round up is an herbicide, not a pesticide, and while just as scary, shouldn't be used to thrash dairy farmers about pollinators.

Re: “Bye-Bye Bailey? UVM May Drop Library Namesake for Supporting Eugenics

i am confused by this article. Who is Perkins? Is this the Mrs. Emily Proctor Eggelston first referred to? Is Proctor supposed to be Perkins? When referred to as Eggelston alone in one sentence, is this Emily Proctor Eggelston, or is it Emily Perkins Eggelston? With such a charged subject, it would help to be clearer.

Re: “Three Ponds Restaurant

great addition to this neck of the woods. the atmosphere is cozy, and the emphasis on sourcing local is much appreciated. only criticisms: i asked for the burger to be cooked medium rare. the hostess told me that they made their own, and pork was in it, so they cooked it medium. nowhere on the menu did it indicate there was pork in the burger, and while i love that addition, i know plenty who don't. also, when i asked for pickles, they came as pickled onions. i also love these, but when pickles are advertised, it's usually the cuke type.
