Re: “Green Goddess Café

Healthy aprés
Green Goddess puts a new spin on aprés for me, as I need a healthier option than wings & beer sometimes. Everything is house-made, down to the English muffins they use for their breakfast sandwiches. And their design-your-own salads are epic. The coffee selection is top-shelf, and they have a few good beers & wines available as well as fresh juices. A great place for a laid back breakfast or lunch, Green Goddess is one of the best spots in Stowe. It can definitely get busy there for peak breakfast time on the weekends, so expect a wait for food if you roll in at 11am on a Sunday. Otherwise, they are usually very quick, and the staff are all great and very passionate about their food. Highly recommended. Food: 4 Ambiance: 3 Service: 4

Re: “Phoenix Table & Bar to Open in Stowe

Such a bummer when legal or lease issues close good restaurants. Pistou in Burlington is another that is closed indefinitely due to "unforeseen circumstances."
