Born and raised in Texas but love to visit Vermont where my wife’s from (smiles). Artist/writer/fitness are my main activities as a young senior. Grandkids and such don’t count cause they’re “way” more than activities, lol!

Really interesting!

Re: “Bike Ferry Won't Run This Year Due to Causeway Damage

Does anyone know yet if one will be able to walk or bike from South Hero to where the gap is? Or any length of that portion, later this summer? Or too soon to say?

If anyone knows, or knows if that northern stretch is walkable/rideable now, please post - thanks so much,

Re: “Battery Park

My wife grew up in Burlington and has fond memories of walking hand in hand with her dad as she walked the wall facing Lake Champlain and he calmly guided her from the wide walk there. Over many years visits Ive enjoyed 4th of July fireworks, concerts, calm sunsets, and (once - smiles), a snow covered visit where I spotted a tiny snowman perched on one of the stone supports between sections of the wall. And Beansies of course has always been a treat :)

Re: “Burlington Construction Rattles Downtown and Beyond

Sounds pretty darn nice! Could use a reverse-cooling alternative here in Austin. Upper 80s today, back to near mid-90s tomorrow through most of the week!

Re: “Burlington Breaks Ground on Waterfront Renovations

Is there a link to a map where the construction is taking place (current & future)?

We'll be visiting very soon and it'd be good to know.
