Re: “Walters: Montpelier to Seek Payment for Sanders Rally Costs

Good idea. Presumably they'll do so with the other events they must monitor and participate in.

Re: “Media Note: Sanders Aide Accuses VTDigger of 'Systemic Racism'

Digger is anti-Bernie just as Seven Days is. It's all clickbait, just like Paul Heintz's articles. They're dying to get picked up by Politico or some other outlet (and apparently the editors don't care that Heintz's writing is always words rearranged from other people's articles.)

Re: “Man's Death Following Fight With Burlington Cop Ruled Homicide

Actually, Stella, homicide is murder. The person who caused the death most certainly did something wrong.

Re: “Elephant's Lament: VTGOP Ranks Are Deeply Divided

Two things: Suzanne Butterfield was a big supporter of Judge Roy Moore, the candidate for Alabama's vacant senate seat (on the off days from when he was cruising shopping malls looking for teen girls.) That should follow Suzanne for the rest of her life. Also, if Don Turner thought he could do a lot for the party, why wouldn't he take on the job instead of entertaining the idea he could ever win statewide? Seems like he's taking the easy way out.

Re: “Trey Pecor Made Millions on Burlington Telecom. Now He's Giving Back

Mayor Gladhand Clavelle must pinch himself every day thanking his lucky stars that the 2008 stock market crash didn't happen while he was mismanaging BT. I'm sure he's more than happy to dump on Kiss. Just as city funds had always been used to prop up entities like Burlington Electric, they were used to prop up another city-owned utility, BT. When the crash happened, no one in the country couldn't borrow money which was the death knell for BT. By they Clavelle had grinned his way into the sunset and the weakened Progs decided Kiss could be the whipping boy. It's so typical of them to act just like the Democrats they abhor.
