Re: “Bonds, Internet and Climate Crisis: Town Meeting Day Decisions in Vermont

It also must be noted that the proposed school bond with interest is pegged at costing $345.6 MILLION. This will also effect each an every Vermonter as well because this would be considered school funding and is income sensitized by the state. If more money needs to go to South Burlington residents due to pre-rebates then the State property tax rate will need to be raised.

Re: “It's Official: Zuckerman Challenges Scott for Governor of Vermont

Remember voters this is a person who openly admitted defrauding the VT taxpayer by fraudulently claiming meal and transpiration reimbursements. He wasn't even sorry about it, nor did he change his ways. He actually tried to defend it.

Re: “Church Street Accidentally Plays Holiday Music All Night

She lives on Church Street. Do you expect quietness? I'd rather hear Christmas music all night than yelling drunk people.

Re: “Deblockracy Now? Vermont Taps Blockchain to Increase Civic Participation

The Consensus app does not work on many cell phones so it leaves lots of community member without this benefit. As a resident of South Burlington I am upset that I must invest in an ungraded phone if I would like the benefit of using this app. Really poorly planned out as only a certain segments of community members can utilize this tool.

Re: “Home Surveillance Cams Solve Crimes — and Spark Privacy Concerns

"Here, police are asking the public to basically self-surveil and bear the financial burden ... for the benefit of law enforcement, without going through that community process," she said.

If members of the community feel the cost of self-surveilling is a value to them then how are the police circumventing the community process? There is nothing mandatory about buying or registering a device. These are actions community member decide to do for themselves and are no required to relay the information to anyone.
