Re: “Conflict Resolution: Should Vermont Legislators Go to Work for Those Who Lobby Them?

Joe Goetz did a wonderful job as afternoon host. I liked his youthful take on classical music, his enthusiasm, his genuine interest in his job, in his listeners (I wrote to him a few times and he did answer me most of the time); he is involved in his community and makes a great difference. What boggles my mind is that VPR hired (not long ago) a new morning host (Kari Anderson) and now fires a host of 7 years of loyal service with them. I feel this is very unfair towards him and though Joe Goetz asked us to keep supporting VPR, I have decided to reduce my sustaining membership to a minimum to protest. I wrote to Ms. Robin Turnau to complain, I complained on VPR’s Facebook page, on VPR’s two blogs regarding this news and sent a letter to Ms. Turnau by snail mail. And a little bird is telling me that I am acting in vain. This is very annoying and I hope VPR comes back to its senses.
