Re: “What’s the Safest Way to Consume Legal Cannabis? Experts Weigh In

Indeed, cannabis has many health promoting benefits which is not widely unknown due to its ridiculous class one designation and lack of study. Juicing cannabis leaves is reported to relieve many health conditions. I have often settled an asthma attack w a hit off a pipe. It's time to restore the status of this amazing plant as it once was, revered and utilized for many ills.

Not to mention the also ridiculous disparity between alcohol vs cannabis by the establishment in regulation: the former known to be exceedingly dangerous, yet easily obtained, and the cause of untold trauma and tragedy in America; the latter usually benign if not benefic, yet its use severely and harshly penalized.

Re: “Lawsuit: Vermont Hemp Company Founder Lifted Cannabis Crop

What a jerk! Good grief! Vermont is way too small town to screw people over, especially the 420 folks. Pay up and save the farm, for goodness sake.

Re: “A Car Crash Paralyzed a Teen. Her Likely Insurance Payout: Just $25,000

The minimum for injuries should be $100,000. Period.
I was the victim of an idiot driver back in 1980--in the hospital for 8 days, lost months of work, broke both arms, my jaw, a foot, was in casts for a year, had 3 surgeries, car was totaled ... and the guy had $25,000 max on his policy. Nothing about that was fair. He gets away with ruining my life for a long time, and my family got to pay his debt, taking care of me for months ...
We NEED to make this an issue for the legislators until this shit gets DONE!!
Angie, so sorry this happened to your family.

Re: “The Thin Red, White and Blue Line: Vermonter Wins Prize Of Arguable Merit

I enjoyed the article. Yes, agree that Don Chioffi's award is dubious in its merit. Concerning in the implications, as well.

I love the idea of this 13-year-old shaking things up at the gubernatorial level. He probably has more access to his common sense, because that of many adults gets buried under layers of personal agendas, prejudice, and ego distortion.

Strange times are here, for sure.

Re: “Bijou Fine Chocolate Shut Down in Shelburne

Sally Pollak, Steve and Ted Blood are two different people. Brothers. I've met them both.
